Highway 10 (14 images)
On the back from Gary's funeral on 2008-09-03, Al and I stopped along the way to relax and enjoy the out-of-doors, something I rarely get to do. I suspect that I look more closely at my surroundings when I have my hands on a camera. Not less relaxed, I'm sure, but prepared to be pleased, amazed, surprised, or inspired.

I submitted a photo quite similar to the first one below to JPG Magazine's "Faith" theme accompanied by the following reflection:

We turn the soil and plant the seeds, confident that the rain will fall and the sun will shine, that the seeds will grow, more often than not. We trust that having done our part, grain will grow. We have faith that even if we, who sowed the seeds, are no longer here, someone will bring in the harvest and another will grind the grain.
Enjoy!
